In the webportal system used by CustomersInFocus, each website initially is created with a 30-day free trial so you can "try before you buy".  After the trial period expires, you will need to pay the specified annual fee to continue using the website.  If you don't want to continue with the website, the website will be automatically removed after another 30 days with absolutely NO cost to you.

You can build your own Instant Website by following 3 Easy Steps:

1. Click a CustomersInFocus Business Category website (like Restaurants).
Different business categories have different needs, and therefore have website templates and content modules geared specifically for that type of business.  The website templates have most of the site content you will need already pre-filled, so once you create an Instant Website, you'll mainly have to change your business-specific information (like business name, contact information, etc.)

2.  In the Business Category site, click the "Try It Now!" button to create a website.
Creating an Instant Website is as simple as filling out the Instant Website wizard/form and pressing the "Finish" button!  Be sure to remember (or write down) your administrator login information, so you can successfully login to the website after it's created.  Most of the site information can be change later, such as the title, skin, and publishing type can be changed later in the Site Settings and the Admin menu.

3.  Customize your website by following the "Portal Setup Steps" in your new website. 
CustomersInFocus makes it easy for you to build your website after it's been initially created by a set of helpful tutorials that guide you through every step of the development process.  Since most of the website's pages and content are populated by the template selected in the Instant Website wizard, you may just have to move the pages and content to meet your needs and replace the sample content with your business-specific content (like name, address, hours, and other information).

The Instant Websites feature of CustomersInFocus is built upon the DotNetNuke Portal Framework (http://www.dotnetnuke.com).  DotNetNuke is an open-source web portal framework that uses the latest ASP.NET best practices technology and SQL Server to build and maintain secure, flexible, high-quality websites. The DotNetNuke Portal Framework is nearly completely data-driven by the SQL Server database.  Instead of having a set of files on the webserver that each contain the site content (these are the ASP/HTML pages on most sites), all the content is stored in the SQL Server database.  As another page is requested (such as a user clicking on a menu item), all the content is retrieved from the database and displayed on the page.  The data-driven model of DotNetNuke provides a web framework that can be easily used to build secure, scalable websites. Since a DotNetNuke portal is completely data-driven, the look (also known as the "skin") of the website is completely separated from website content.  For most websites, when the web developer needs to change how each page in the website looks, they must make the changes to every page of the website.  With a DotNetNuke portal, the look of the entire website can be changed by simply modifying the website skin file and style-sheet.
